Man United boosted to sign £17m-rated CB

Chinese club, Tianjin Quanjian offer £17 million centre back to Man Utd

Coach Jose Mourinho happens to be the top coach that has been linked with moves for different centre-back defenders this season.

The Portugal international has been linked with Harry Maguire, Toby, Alex Sandro, Yerry Mina among others.

But new update have made it known that Chinese club, Tianjin Quanjian defender, Axel Witsel is about to join the list.

According to report the Chinese club willingly offered the player to Manchester United as they fixed his transfer price at £17 million.

Apart from the Red Devils, Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest to bring him to Germany.

But recent report state that Dortmund may have dropped the idea because they are not ready to pay such an amount for the player.

This leaves only Man United as the only potential club that can sign the player.

With many of their targets yet to be secured, Man Utd may make a move to sign Axel as they seem determined to sign at least one more player before the close of the transfer window.

In another news, Real Madrid player, Matteo Kovacic has refused to move to Old Trafford because of the Jose Mourinho playing patter.
