Liverpool To Launch Summer Move For £40m-rated Forward

Liverpool are preparing a £40million move for Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao according to reports.

The Reds finished the season in a Champions League spot for the first time in as many years and have started plans to add a number of players to their stead as they hope to reinforce for another hectic season, one of their major targets is Balde who happens to be Sadio Mane’s national teammate in Senegal.

Although a number of clubs in Europe have also shown interest in signing the 22-year-old, Liverpool believes they can lure him to Anfield with the help of Sadio Mane, who has been a quality addition to the squad.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, AC Milan and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in signing Balde.

But reports in ESPN have it that Jurgen Klopp believes he can move ahead of other suitors to sign Balde due to the presence of Mane who said to be his close friend.

Liverpool have also been credited with a summer move for Roma forward Mohamed Salah, who has reportedly agreed to join the Reds this summer but a transfer fee has to be agreed between the two clubs before the move could materialise.
