Liverpool Told They Can Sign This Skillful Forward For £90m

Reigning Champions League winners Liverpool have been told that they can sign one of their transfer targets for £90m according to the publication from TeamTalk.

Liverpool are long-term admirers of Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele who could be the victim of a major rebuilding job at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona signed Dembele from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund two seasons ago but he has not been able to live up to his full potentials in the colours of the Spanish champions.

Borussia Dortmund received an initial fee of £90m for the French World Cup winner in addition to several millions in add-ons.

According to the aforementioned publication from TeamTalk, the Nou Camp giants want to recoup the initial £90m spent on the 22-year-old winger as they try to raise funds to sign new players this summer.

Ousmane Dembele was part of the 23-man French squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia after he recovered from an injury-hit first season as a Barcelona player.

The former Rennes player spent a big part of his debut campaign on the sidelines as a result of various injuries and that affected his form for Barcelona.

Injuries also affected his output for Barcelona during his second season at the club.
