Club Have Made It Easier For Liverpool To Get Star Player With £62million

Monaco star player Thomas Lemar has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool since last year, but it appears the Frenchman will find himself at Anfield before the end of the ongoing winter transfer window.

Last week, Duncan Castles announced that Liverpool are ready to complete a deal for Lemar the same way they beat the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea to Virgil Van Dijk’s signature – convincing the player first, then paying the club a high fee.

Few days after Duncan’s statement, there were widespread reports that the France international is ready to snub other clubs searching for his signature, just to complete a move to Anfield.

And it was made known recently (Mirror) that Monaco are open to selling the talented player, but the Merseysiders will have to pay up to £90million to secure his services.

There are some other reports circulating in France that Lemar will leave the French club if a concrete offer is made and that Monaco are ready to reduce his fee to £62million – as a result of his current not-too-pleasant form.

Lemar helped Monaco with the Ligue 1 title last season, but this season so far, he has only been able to score just three goals in 20 games.

In your opinion, should Klopp splash £62 million on Lemar?
