Liverpool Preparing Final Mammoth Bid For Naby Keita

Liverpool are preparing a final £75 million bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfied for much part of the transfer window as Jurgen Klopp plan to bolster his midfield options ahead of a hectic season in the Premier League and Champions League.

Having drawn attention from top clubs in Europe, Keita is said to be open to a move away from Leipzig this summer with Liverpool being his likely destination.

However, the Bundesliga side have refused to baulk on their stance not to sell the midfielder despite Liverpool’s huge bids for the midfielder.

Reports in the Independent claim that the Reds are ready to return to RB Leipzig with a mammoth £75 million bid for Naby Keita after seeing their initial bids rejected for the midfielder.

Leipzig owner Dietrich Mateschitz said earlier this week: ‘We don’t sell any of our players just to get money. Lately we got a €75m offer for Naby Keita. No way!

Naby Keita arrived at the Bundesliga side just last summer from the sister club, RB Salzburg and quickly established himself as an integral part of their squad last season as they finished as runners-up against all odds.
