Liverpool not favorite to sign this pacey player ..

Five-time European champions Liverpool have emerged as second favourites to sign in-form Premier League striker Callum Wilson ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from the 1st of next month.

This revelation was made by Bookmakers Coral with rivals Chelsea in front of the race for the English striker.

According to Harry Aitkenhead of Coral, Chelsea are 2/1 favourites to sign Callum Wilson ahead of Liverpool (4/1) and Tottenham Hotspur (6/1).
Callum Wilson is on the payroll of South Coast club Bournemouth.

Cherries manager Eddie Howe has already brushed aside transfer reports linking the aforementioned Callum Wilson with an exit from the Premier League outfit.

Callum Wilson, 26, has been in sensational form for Bournemouth this season after recovering from two serious knee injuries over the course of the last three seasons.

He has scored eight goals in 16 Premier League games in the new campaign in addition to providing five assists.

His Bournemouth form has led to rumoured interests from the big Premier League sides as well as a call-up to the Three Lions of England setup under Gareth Southgate.

Callum Wilson made a scoring debut for the 1966 world champions in last month’s 3-0 win over the United States of America in what was an international friendly game.
