Liverpool Are The Best Team In Europe – Sergio Conceicao

FC Porto manager Sergio Conceicao has described Premier League leaders Liverpool as the best team in Europe following their phenomenal achievement on both the local and continental scenes.

Sergio Conceicao talked about the quality of the Liverpool team during his pre-match press conference ahead of their Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

The FC Porto manager would be hoping to lead his team to victory over Liverpool during the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie.

The Reds have a comfortable lead over FC Porto following their first leg meeting last week.

Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino scored the goals for Liverpool as they established a 2-0 lead in their tie with FC Porto ahead of the second leg at the Estadio Dragao.

FC Porto and Liverpool also met in the last 16 of last season’s competition.

The Portuguese champions were eliminated by Liverpool last season via a 5-0 aggregate defeat including a 5-0 loss to the Reds at the same match venue (Estadio Dragao).

Liverpool are one of the favourites for the Champions League this season alongside the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City.

In addition, the Reds are also in the running for the Premier League title alongside holders Manchester City.

Liverpool have four games to go before the end of the Premier League season while Manchester City have five matches to play but they trail leaders Liverpool by two points in their bid to retain their title.
