Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has confirmed that there have been ‘concrete interest’ from clubs.
The 20-year-old has been a standout performer for Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga, pitching himself as one of the hottest prospects in Europe and has been tipped to make a move to a bigger club.
Chelsea and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Bailey, who is valued at around £70 million.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich have also expressed interest in the winger, with reports that the latter submitted a £53 million offer for the player.
Speaking in a recent interview, Bailey has confirmed that there are concrete interest from clubs in Europe but went on to reveal that he remains keen on becoming a better player for Bayer Leverkusen.
What remains yet to known is whether Chelsea will still move for Bailey before the end of the summer window, after Willian gave assurance that he wants to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer.
Liverpool on the other hand, are on keen on adding more paces to their already explosive wing, and move for Bailey would have to wait till another window unless an unexpected injury happens in the squad before the Thursday deadline.
Arsenal are believed to be after signing a winger but have not made their intentions known to Leverkusen who require a big money move to allow their star man leave this summer.
