Liverpool legend John Aldridge has urged Reds manager Jurgen Klopp to find a solution to the current goal drought being experienced by star player Mohamed Salah.
In his column for the Irish Independent, the former Liverpool player told Klopp to find a way to get Salah firing again for the club’s sake.
Mohamed Salah has not scored for Liverpool in his last seven games for the Merseysiders.
The Egyptian international star has scored three goals in his last eleven games for Liverpool.
Despite his poor form in front of goal, Liverpool have managed four wins in their last five games.
Senegalese international Sadio Mane has taken over the mantle of goalscoring from Mohamed Salah in recent games.
Mane has scored 11 goals in his last 11 games for Liverpool including his strike for the Reds in the 2-1 away win over struggling Premier League club Fulham.
The former Southampton player opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Ryan Babel equalised for the hosts on 74 minutes following the mix-up between Alisson Becker and Virgil Van Dijk.
Sadio Mane was then fouled by Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico before substitute James Milner dispatched the resulting penalty to give the Reds a 2-1 win.
The result was enough to take Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table ahead of title rivals Manchester City.
