Reds Legend Praises Klopp For Summer Signings

Liverpool legend Kenny ‘King’ Dalglish has showered high praise on Reds manager Jurgen Klopp for the successes recorded by his summer signings.

Ex-Reds player and manager Kenny Dalglish talked about the German tactician and his players while he was on popular English media platform Sky Sports.

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool spent over £150m on four players and it has proven to be money well spent.

The Reds signed the quartet of Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xerdan Shaqiri during this summer’s transfer window.

These players have contributed immensely to the Reds’ surge to the top of the Premier League table.

Brazilian international shot stopper joined Liverpool from Italian Serie A side AS Roma in a £67m and he has kept 11 clean sheets in 18 league games this season.

Alisson has conceded just seven goals which is a Premier League record at this stage.

Fabinho signed for Liverpool from struggling French top flight side AS Monaco in a £44m deal.

The Brazilian was eased into his Liverpool career by Klopp and he has been impressive since he made his debut in the Premier League.

He was named the man-of-the-match in last weekend’s big game against Manchester United which the Reds won 3-1.
Xerdan Shaqiri scored twice against the Red Devils in what was his first brace since he signed for Liverpool from Stoke City in a £13.5m deal.

On his part, Naby Keita has been troubled by injuries since he joined from German side RB Leipzig but he plays well for the Reds when called upon.
