Jurgen Klopp gives latest update on midfield maestro injury

The game between Liverpool and Man City ended in a goalless draw but one of the Reds key players, James Miner suffered an injury.

Liverpool midfielder, James Miner was substituted in the first half, at the 28th minute of the hard-fought game between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield.

The 32-year-old midfielder was substituted following a hamstring injury and was replaced with Naby Keita, who also have just recovered from a back injury during the Reds match against Napoli in the UCL.

However, a report from Anfield disclosed that the player will be assessed this week to know the seriousness of the injury.

Jurgen Klopp in a post-match statement disclosed he has spoken with James Milner and the player has assured him he will be fine but Klopp stressed he is still waiting for the result from the medics.

In another news, coach Jurgen Klopp criticized and slammed the Uefa Nations League.

He went on to term it the most useless tournament ever.

Just like every other coach in the EPL, Klopp is not happy that some of the Reds players are about to leave for the international holiday break for the second time this season.

Liverpool will face Huddersfield immediately after the break on October 20.
