Ibrahimovic Want Mourinho To Sign Marco Verratti For Man United

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has encouraged his side’s Portuguese manager to drop a bid for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.

During the past summer transfer window, there were speculations Verratti was asked to leave the Paris club ahead of the 2017/18 season after a disappointing term under the management of Unai Emery.

During the transfer window, the Italian midfielder went ahead to hire popular agent Mino Raiola who works with the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Romelu Lukaku. These fueled speculations about a potential move, but PSG refused to allow him leave.

And Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who played together with the 25-year-old for four years when he was still at PSG, wants Jose to bring the Italian over to Old Trafford next summer.

Mourinho successfully convinced Paul Pogba to come over to his side last year, even with no Champions League football. Also this summer, the Portuguese tactician was able to lure Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, and the Serbian midfielder has kicked-started a revolution in Man United’s midfield this season.

It is not a bad idea if Mourinho sign yet another midfielder next year, as the careers of the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Micheal Carrick and Ander Herrera is expected to come to a close anytime soon.

A midfielder like Verratti would no doubt work well with Matic and Pogba in the heart of Mourinho’s midfield.
