Italian Serie A giants Lazio recently rejected a big money move for star striker Ciro Immobile according to his agent Alessandro Moggi.
His agent confirmed this in a chat with Sky Sports 24 as he said that Lazio turned down a €60m bid from Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang who has ex-Atletico Madrid attacker Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco on their payroll.
Moggi also talked about how the Italian capital club wants to retain the services of former Borussia Dortmund star Immobile who’s an important player for the Europa League campaigners.
Italian international striker Ciro Immobile has been attracting a lot of interests from other European clubs as a result of his form for Lazio.
He was the joint top-scorer in the Italian Serie A campaign from last season after netting 29 goals alongside Inter Milan hitman Mauro Icardi.
North London giants Tottenham Hotspur and struggling French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco were keen on a move for him at the start of the season but nothing came out of those links.
Recently, he has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
It remains to be seen whether Lazio will want to sanction the sale of a player as important to the Lazio cause as Ciro Immobile.
