How Chelsea Recovered From Poor Form Revealed

Chelsea forward Pedro Rodriguez has narrated how the Blues recovered from their recent slump in form.

The Spaniard talked about Chelsea and how they have been able to recover from their poor form in an interview with Sky Sports.

According to him, Chelsea players decided that enough is enough before adding that they had a meeting to address the slump.

Chelsea started the year with three successive defeats away from home in the Premier League including the 6-0 thrashing handed out to Blues’ manager Maurizio Sarri and his players by league leaders Manchester City.

Before the heavy Manchester City defeat, Chelsea lost 2-0 at Arsenal courtesy goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny.

They were also beaten heavily by Bournemouth who won 4-0 courtesy a brace from Josh King.

Their poor form was compounded by the Carabao Cup meltdown between goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and Maurizio Sarri

Kepa refused to be substituted towards the end of the extra time of the Carabao Cup final penalty loss to Manchester City.

He was fined a week’s salary and dropped for the Premier League clash with London rivals Tottenham Hotspur which Chelsea won 2-0.

The Blues have now won their last two games in the league to boost their top-four hopes.
