Good News – Liverpool Complete Star Player Signing

According to new reports, premier league side Liverpool have agreed on a fee with Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig to sign their star player Naby Keita after the player emerged as a target for the Reds this summer.

However, it was added that the move will not go through until the summer of 2018.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have reportedly paid an excess that goes beyond the £48 million release clause that was in the player’s contract next year to make sure they will be the ones to get his signature ahead of any other interested club.

This move by Liverpool is sure a brilliant one as it will make it impossible for other parties to hijack the player.

The Reds tried to get the Guinean earlier in the transfer window but his club refused to sell him and would not let him leave at any cost.

Keita, however, had a clause in his contract with RB Leipzig that comes into effect next year and Jurgen Klopp’s side have now paid over that amount to ensure he will be all theirs next summer.

The African midfielder is a hot prospect this summer after emerging as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe including Barcelona. A few days ago, it was reported that the Catalan giants will be offering huge money to Leipzig to convince them to send Naby over to Camp Nou.

But the player is understood to have had a medical earlier today and the announcement of his signing should be announced by Liverpool any moment from now.
