Genoa set £35 million for Chelsea’s target

The Blues will have to pay the sum of £35 million before they can sign Genoa striker and Poland international, Krzysztof Piatek from the Italian club, Genoa.

According to a report, Genoa are finally ready to sell the 23 years old striker barely less than a year after he joined them.

Krzysztof Piatek came into the limelight following his goalscoring skills for Genoa, which have drawn interest from many elite football clubs in Europe.

The Poland striker has continued with his goal scoring skill as he now has 13 goals in 9 appearances, which is a huge record for a youngster like him.

Chelsea will have to face stiff competitions from Italian clubs, Napoli and Roma, who are also interested in the youngster, but the report hinted that the Blues are the favourable club that may finally get the deal.

New report claimed that Genoa have fixed Krzysztof Piatek’s transfer fee at £35 million which is a huge contrast compared to the £3.5 million they paid to sign him in the summer.

With the look of things and the capability of the Blues, they wouldn’t mind paying the sum of money for the young striker especially as their two strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are struggling to perform.
