Chelsea Legend: This Is The Player I Will Love Chelsea To Sign This Summer

Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has admitted that he would love to see his former club sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.

With Chelsea kicking off the new campaign on Saturday against Burnley at Stamford Bridge, the defending champions have been able to bring in just four new players this summer transfer window after completing deals for Willy Caballero (for free from Manchester City), Antonio Rudiger (from AS Roma), Tiemoue Bakayoko (from Monaco) and latest signing Alvaro Morata (from Real Madrid).

However, the club’s Italian boss Antonio Conte has reportedly urged the board to bring in more new players and has lamented about how lean his squad is ahead of his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Already, as much as nine Chelsea players have departed Stamford Bridge this summer, with the latest being Nemanja Matic to Old Trafford.

Diego Costa is also expected to complete his move away from Stamford Bridge any moment from now while Brazilian youngster Kenedy is ready to move to Newcastle United on a season-long loan.

Chelsea have signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United earlier this summer, but the Spanish striker is still yet to find his full feet at his new club.

The Italian manager has once talked about how much he admire Spurs forward Harry Kane, which did not go down well the Tottenham’s manager Mauricio Pochettino.

And Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has made it known how much he admires the English striker and how much he wish Chelsea can bring him into Stamford Bridge. Lampard however added that a deal would be unlikely.
