Finally, £80,000-a-week Star Agrees Man United Deal – Not Griezmann

Manchester United are presently inactive in the ongoing winter transfer window and they are mainly interested in signing deals with their current crop of key players.

Some days back, United officially agreed a one year extension with midfielder Marouane Fellaini.  Now, according to latest reports, the red devils have done the same with Ecuadorian star Antonio Valencia.

Back in last year’s November, the Mirror published that Manchester United seek to sign a one year extension with the former Wigan attacker who presently goes home with £80,000 each week.

Yesterday however, Man United finally triggered the clause in Valencia’s contract to extend his deal and 31-year-old Valencia is happy to stay with the Old Trafford club.

The defender has been a key member of the squad under the management of Jose Mourinho. This season so far, he has appeared in 23 games for Mourinho side and has provided 4 assists.

The star player joined Man United with the sole intention of replacing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo when Sir Alex Ferguson was still boss at the club. But in the past few seasons, he has being converted and mainly played as a right wing-back.

Being a player who has won all the major titles in England with Manchester United, we think he actually deserves an extension.
