Why fans will love coming Christmas under Emery

Former Arsenal defender Viv Anderson has predicted a gloomy Christmas period for the club against what was known in the past years.

It would be recalled that under the Arsene Wenger era, the failure of the Arsenal team usually starts during the Christmas period with the players getting tired while some pick injuries.

Arsenal as a team loses most of its points during the festive period under Wenger but the club’s legend said reverse will be the case this time around.

He stated that the maximum potential of Emery’s team will be seen at the end of the year.

Emery’s first four games in charge of the team must have created some doubts in the heart of some fans but Anderson said all that is happening is a building process that will be ripe at the end of the year.

He noted that the players are just learning a new style of play which will take a little time before they are able to master it.

The Spaniard has introduced the pressing style of play which is entirely new to the old Arsenal players, in addition to the system of building an attack from the back.

Anderson says the former PSG boss will stick to his principles and also succeed at the Emirates but that will only take little time.
