Everton monitoring 23-year-old unused Liverpool striker

English football club, Everton are reportedly planning a move that will see Liverpool striker, Divock Origi joined them in the next transfer window.

Everton want to strengthen their squad ahead of the remaining games by bringing in a new striker.

The duo of Gylfi Sigurdsson and new signing Richarlison are the club’s top scorers in the English premier league.

Everton coach, Marco Silva had made used of Richarlison as a center forward in their 2 – 1 win against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium before the international break.

Divock Origi, 23, has not featured in any game for the Reds this season and he is unlikely to make an appearance till the end of this season.

Liverpool were close to selling him off to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last summer transfer window for £22 million but the striker rejected the offer to move to the club.

Another offer came from Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund but Liverpool turned down the bid as they were not after a loan deal which the German club brought to the table but a permanent deal for the young striker.

The last time a transfer took place between Liverpool and Everton was in 2002 which saw Abel Xavier move to Anfield at the transfer fee of £800,000.
