Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has debunked transfer rumours that he has set his sights on a move to outgoing European champions Real Madrid this summer.
In an exclusive interview with VTM Nieuws, Chelsea talisman Hazard revealed that he’s not working on a transfer to Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old was however quick to point out that he won’t mind leaving Chelsea.
He also said that his immediate focus is to win the Europa League trophy with the Blues.
Chelsea have been handed a relatively easy draw in the quarterfinals.
They will face Czech Republic side Slavia Prague in the last eight with a semifinal spot at stake.
Eden Hazard would be keen to play a starring role for the Blues against their Czech opponents.
He has previously talked about his desire to move to Real Madrid and transfer rumours linking him with the Spanish giants have increased in recent days following the reappointment of his football idol Zinedine Zidane.
Real Madrid and Zidane parted ways last summer after the former resigned from his post as the club’s manager in the wake of him leading the Los Merengues to three successive Champions League titles.
The Frenchman was reappointed as the Real Madrid manager earlier this month following the dismissal of Santiago Solari.
