English Football club, Arsenal, who loan out their goalkeeper, David Ospina to the Italian league, where he joined Napoli a few days ago are now left with Petr Cech and Bernd Leno as their two major goalkeepers.
Arsenal had decided to loan out the Columbia international so that he will not become redundant at Emirate stadium because the chances of him playing in the senior team are very low.
So far in the two matches, Arsenal had played in 2018/19 football season, former Chelsea goalie, Petr Cech has been the one manning the goal post.
Well, it looks as if Ospina is already preparing for a long season at Napoli as he is likely to end up as their main goalkeeper following the injury of their first-team goalkeeper, Meret.
According to the terms of the loan contract, Napoli have signed David Ospina at the sum of £895,000.
However, the interest to buy him permanently according to Napoli depends on his performance this season.
Going by the records, David Ospina has made 70 appearances in all competition at Arsenal with two FA cups and an FA Community Shield to his name.
