Liverpool Striker Set To Join English Club Today

Liverpool striker Danny Ings is set for a move to Crystal Palace before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The English forward has been linked for a move away from Anfield for several months due to his lack of chances under Jurgen Klopp.

A couple of clubs in the Premier League have been tipped to make move for Danny Ings before Thursday deadline.

Reports in the Evening Standard claim that Ings could finally be on his way out of Liverpool in favour of a move to Crystal Palace.

Palace are currently without a recognised striker, and are in the market to bring in someone before the end of transfer business this summer but will have to battle Southampton for the signature of the Danny Ings.

The report also claims that the Reds are hoping to get a fee around £20 million for Ings, as the likes of Newcastle and Leicester City both slug it out with Crystal Palace and Southampton for the player’s signature.

Ings who joined Liverpool from Burnley in 2015, has made just 14 appearances for the Reds due to a string of injury problems.

Ings could be the third big-name player to swap Liverpool for Crystal Palace following the arrival of Mamadou Sakho and Christian Benteke to the Selhurst Park with Mersey side.
