Lazio say Manchester United will have to shell out £99 million to sign Serbia international as he has more worth than Paul Pogba

Jose Mourinho led Manchester United side have been in a move to sign a new midfielder following the action of France international, Paul Pogba linking him with a move to Spanish club, Barcelona.

Over the weeks, the rumoured move of Pogba to Camp Nou has grown stronger as report made it known that the midfielder is expected to take over shirt No 8, which was previously worn by Andre Iniesta at Barcelona.

Paul Pogba has also made things difficult for the Red Devils as he has been pushing for a move away from Old Trafford having had issues with Coach Jose Mourinho that saw him on the bench last season.

In order to avoid losing out on a midfielder completely, the Red Devils have been linked with a move to sign Serbia international, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Seria A club,  Lazio.

However, Lazio seems to make things difficult for Manchester United as the club has insisted on a transfer fee of £99 million.

The club president in a statement had disclosed that if Man United can sign Paul Pogba from Juventus at £89 million then Savic will go for at least £99 million as he is worth more than the France international.
