Daniel Sturridge revealed why he didn’t celebrate his goal against Chelsea

Liverpool have a new saviour and it is not Mo Salah but England international, Daniel Sturridge, he has helped the Reds with goals when they needed it the most.

It is not surprising to see players in wild celebration after a goal especially if the goal is an important one.

However, it will be shocking to see a player become motionless while fans and teammates burst into celebration after a goal.

Well, this was what happened to Liverpool Magician, Daniel Sturridge during the match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea were leading with a single goal from Eden Hazard strike in the first half but towards the end of the second half, Jurgen Klopp made an unexpected change to his squad removing Milner for Daniel Sturridge.

When Liverpool fans seem to have lost hope of equalizing, Daniel Sturridge scored the 25 yards goal from the goal post.

The Reds fans, players and Jurgen Klopp burst into celebration but the goal scorer, Daniel Sturridge stood motionless.

However, the England international in a post-match statement disclosed why he didn’t celebrate the goal.

He revealed that he did it out of respect for Chelsea, the staff and the players.
