However, prior to the match later today, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp have issued an update on the new boost in the team.

The Germany international disclosed that Liverpool player, Joel Matip have resume back for training.

He added that there is every likelihood the 27-year-old player will play for the Reds in their match against Crysta Palace tonight.

Jurgen Klopp is under a lot of pressure to lift the EPL trophy this season and unseat the defending champions, Man City.

The pressure heightened this season because the Reds had spent so much in the transfer window bringing in classy players that can help the team achieve their aim.

In the summer transfer window alone, the Reds were rated the club with the highest spending as they spent as much as £170 million on new players.

So, it is in the best interest of Klopp to get it right this season with the calibre of players they have.
