Paris Saint Germain are closing on a summer swoop for Arsenal striker, Lucas Perez, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has grown frustrated at his lack of chances at the Emirates, and wants to leave the club despite just joining the Gunners last summer transfer window but has scored just one goal in the Premier League so far.
It is understood that Arsenal are also ready to cash in on the Spaniard due to his style of play, and Paris Saint Germain are looking at the prospects of signing Perez, with reports that Unai Emery is a long-term admirer of the striker and will try to lure him to the Parc du Princes next summer.
Although, Perez might be brought in as cover for Edinson Cavani who is currently on an impressive run in the current season, scoring 42 goals in 41 appearances in the current campaign.
Prior to his move to the Premier League, the former Deportivo La Coruna forward netted 17 goals for the La Liga side, before his summer transfer move to Arsenal for €20 million but has failed to nail a place under Arsene Wenger.
Reports in the Mirror also claim that Arsenal are ready to sell several players next summer to clear out deadwood to bring in high-profile names to the Emirates.
