With the summer transfer window closing soon, it appears Chelsea are not giving up on Torino star player Andrea Belotti.
According to new reports, the blues manager Antonio Conte is keen on bringing in the Italian striker once Diego Costa leaves this summer.
Conte has told the Brazilian-born striker at the end of last season that he is free to leave Stamford Bridge and Costa himself revealed it to pressmen while on international duties with Spain.
Recently, the huge striker claimed Chelsea were treating him like a ‘criminal’, and it appears things are worse than we thought between the player and the club.
The west Londoners have already brought in former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in a deal worth £70million and he is thought to be a nice replacement for his countryman at Stamford Bridge.
And the Daily Star said Chelsea boss Conte is not putting much trust in Michy Batshuayi and want to bring in Belloti from Torino to add more power to his attack.
Last season, Andrea scored 26 goals for his side in the Serie A and has a £87.5m release clause in his contract.
It was said that Conte wants Costa to leave Stamford Bridge permanently before adding to his team and that he is urging the club’s board to get as much as four more players before the transfer window closes.
