Chelsea top target could be lured to Man United

According to former Spurs manager Tim Sherwood, there are lots of possibilities that Harry Kane will force his way to any top club including Manchester United next summer, if his current side Tottenham fail to win a trophy this term.

Sherwood is concerned that his former side cannot go ahead holding on to such a superstar if they are not winning trophies.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side narrowly missed out on the Premier League title for two seasons in a row, and couldn’t create any meaningful impact in the Champions League too.

Kane has evolved into a major pillar at Tottenham and has evolved into one of the best strikers in the world. The Englishman has scored 98 goals since Pochettino took over as the club boss in the 2014/15 season.

Top English clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with interest in the past, and Tim believes Tottenham must now win a trophy to cement Harry’s loyalty to the club, hence, might lose him to clubs like Man United.

Spurs are yet to win a single trophy since their League Cup win back in 2008, and there is hardly any top player who doesn’t crave for such achievements.

Kane had a slow start in his Tottenham career, but has now scored 103 goals in 171 appearances for the club.
