Swansea City star player Fernando Llorente has been linked with Chelsea before the end of the previous campaign and the striker is understood to be interested in making a move to Stamford Bridge.
Right now, there are reports that the premier league champions are ready to offer his club £15million to persuade them to sell him.
Chelsea have already signed Antonio Rudiger (from AS Roma), Alvaro Morata (from Real Madrid) and Tiemoue Bakayoko (from Monaco), but Antonio Conte is still concerned by the lack of depth in his squad and have reportedly told the management to bring in as many as four new players before the transfer window closes next week.
Following the fallout between Conte and Diego Costa, the blues have just Alvaro and Batshuayi as options upfront. And considering that this season will be a very busy one at Stamford Bridge, coupled with Champions League football, it is obvious that the attack department ought to be bolstered.
Fernando was a target for Chelsea during the January winter transfer window, but Swansea refused to sell him at that time so as to escape relegation.
Conte and Llorente have worked together back then at Juventus, and the player is believed to be interested in a reunion.
Chelsea plan to submit a £15m bid this week for the 32-year-old and are confident of getting his signature before the transfer window closes next week.
