Chelsea no longer interested in this £53million rated target

Antonio Conte is set to allow rivals Manchester United to sign their long-term transfer target Alex Sandro.

According to a report by the Sun, Chelsea will drop their keen interest in the full-back allowing Manchester United and their Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho to lead the race in the pursuit to land the left-back.

Further, the same report claims that United are ready to splash huge on the superstar with £53million lined up to lure the star away from Juventus.

While this development may come as a major blow to Blues faithful that the fullback could now be leaving for Old Trafford instead of Stamford Bridge, it is sure Man United who need the Brazilian’s services more.

While the Blues have Spain international Marcos Alonso in their team as one of the best English Premier League left full-backs, the Old Trafford outfit are without an outright and regular player in the position.

Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, and Luke Shaw have all failed in their bid to seal themselves as regular starters this campaign in the role and former Chelsea boss Mourinho often has to depend on converted Ashley Young, a wide man to full-back to occupy the position.

The Brazilian international left-back could surely be the answer to Man United’s full-back problems.
