Chelsea In €45m Bid For 14-Goal Bundesliga Star

West London giants Chelsea have made a big-money bid for highly rated Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic according to reports emanating from the media in Germany.

According to German newspaper Sport Bild, Chelsea have made a €45m bid for the young Serbian international star to counter the one made by European champions Real Madrid.

The same publication had reported that Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have made a €45m bid for him.

Luka Jovic has also been linked with former European champions Liverpool and Barcelona.

It was even revealed that Spanish champions Barcelona have agreed on a deal to sign him but it seems that those reports of an impending move to the Nou Camp are wide off the mark.

Five-time European champions Liverpool were the first major club linked with Luka Jovic who’s on loan at German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt from Portuguese Super League team Benfica.

Luka Jovic has been in sensational form for the German club after netting 14 Bundesliga goals in 15 games since the start of this campaign.

In addition, the Bosnian-born Serbian player has scored five goals in six games in the Europa League.

Luka Jovic has been able to score 19 goals in all competitions this term.
