Chelsea Draw Up Five-Man Shortlist In Search For Hazard Replacement

Premier League giants Chelsea have drawn up a five-man shortlist as they prepare for life after star player Eden Hazard.

The Daily Mail claim that the Blues have begun the search for the player to replace the Belgian at the club in the event that the former Lille star end his seven-year stay at the club this summer.

It was also revealed that a move for unsettled Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is highly unlikely despite the fact that the Brazilian international is not having the best of times at the Nou Camp.

Some reports had claimed that Chelsea were targeting the former Liverpool midfielder as a replacement for Eden Hazard though Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has already debunked those transfer rumours by saying that the player is not for sale and that his future lies at the Nou Camp.

The five-man Chelsea shortlist includes Napoli attacker Lorenzo Insigne and Everton forward Richarlison who has scored 10 goals for the Toffees in the Premier League since the start of the season.

Others are Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen, who recently impressed in the 3-1 win over German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Pablo Sarabia of Spanish club Sevilla as well as Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho.
