Chelsea Depend Too Much On Hazard – Club Legend

Former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley has berated his former club and manager Maurizio Sarri for depending too much on star player Eden Hazard.

The Chelsea legend talked about Hazard and Sarri while he was doing his punditry job on popular media channel ESPN.

According to him, Chelsea have no other plan than to get the ball to Eden Hazard.

Craig Burley said that the Blues’ Plan A, B and C under Maurizio Sarri is Eden Hazard but the Belgian is not in the league of players like Lionel Messi.

He does not have the capacity to score 40 goals in one season like what’s obtainable with Barcelona superstar Messi.

Eden Hazard has been in sensational form for his club in the Premier League this season but Chelsea might struggle to keep him at Stamford Bridge beyond this season.

Outgoing European champions Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Hazard and they are ready to pounce in the summer with one year left on his current Chelsea contract.

Recent reports claim that Real Madrid have offered Hazard £400,000 weekly wages before tax since he’s reluctant to sign a new contract at Chelsea.

Eden Hazard has scored 16 goals for Chelsea this season in addition to 13 assists in the Premier League.
