Ex-Liverpool Star On PFA Team Of The Year Shortlist

Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling has been rewarded for his superb form with a spot on the PFA Team of the Year.

The list of players on the PFA Team was released on Thursday morning.

Sterling has been in very good form for Manchester City who are overwhelming favorites to retain their league title ahead of Merseyside giants Liverpool.

Manchester City are at the top of the Premier League table with three games left this term.

The Citizens secured the league summit ahead of Liverpool with a 2-0 away win over Manchester United in their Manchester Derby clash at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

Bernardo Silva and substitute Leroy Sane scored the goals for Manchester City who are now one point ahead of title rivals Liverpool.

Former Liverpool star Sterling provided the assist for the second goal scored by Leroy Sane.

Raheem Sterling has scored 17 goals for his club in addition to 10 assists in the Premier League this season.

He’s joined on the PFA Team of the Year list by ten others.
