Anfield giants Liverpool have been linked with a move for highly rated Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt ahead of the January transfer window expected on the 1st of January, 2017.
As reported by popular English news outlet The Mirror, the 20-year old German star could join the legion of former Bundesliga stars that are already growing under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Since the former Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund manager replaced Brendan Rodgers, Klopp has overseen the transfer of players like goalkeeper Loris Karius, Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan and Alex Manninger from various clubs in the German Bundesliga.
Brandt would undoubtedly improve Liverpool in the attack as they attempt to seal their first league title for the first time in twenty six years going by his impressive form for his Bayer Leverkusen side.
The young forward has an impressive return of a goal or an assist in every 2.7 games to make him a potentially good signing in addition to the fact that he already has almost 100 appearances under his belt with an additional 55 caps for his Germany side.
Liverpool would be hoping they can get their man in the January transfer window as they attempt to close the gap on leaders Chelsea, who have amassed 46 points from 18 games this season.
