Betting Preview: FC Porto vs Liverpool: Away Win On The Cards

Premier League leaders Liverpool took a big step towards the Champions League semifinals following their 2-0 win over FC Porto in the first leg of their last eight tie.

The Reds are in the driving seat for a last four place ahead of the second leg at the Estadio Dragao in Portugal.

Portuguese champions FC Porto host Liverpool at a stadium which saw them lose to the Reds by five goals last season.

Liverpool beat FC Porto 5-0 at the same venue as Wednesday night’s game.

The Reds defeated the Portuguese champions convincingly in the first leg of the 2017/18 season before playing out a goalless draw at Anfield to secure a quarterfinal place enroute their run to the Champions League final last year.

Both teams were drawn in the quarterfinals this time around and Liverpool have already established a commanding lead through goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino in the first leg.

Liverpool are keen to add the Champions League title to a possible league title at the end of this season.

The Reds have winning odds of 2.10 according to Bet365 while FC Porto have victory odds of 3.80.

The possibility of a stalemate is with the odds of 3.50 according to Bet365.
