Bad omen for Chelsea! Andre Marriner appointed as the referee for the match against Liverpool

Chelsea 100 per cent win was put to an end by Manuel Pellegrini led West Ham side at the London Club on Sunday in the English Premier League.

The game between the two sides had ended in a goalless draw.

However, come this weekend Chelsea will host a tougher side Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The good thing about the Chelsea vs Liverpool match is that the two sides play a similar style of football, they both attack and expand during a game, so it will an interesting match to watch.

However, there is already a bad omen that Chelsea will lose the match or play a draw against Liverpool on Saturday in the EPL.

This is because referee Andre Marriner has been appointed as the referee to see to the officiating of the match.

Going by past record, this will be the third time referee Andre Marriner will be named as the referee in a game between Chelsea and Liverpool.

On the two previous occasions, Chelsea was defeated in a 1 – 0 scoreline, and the second ended in a 1 – 1 draw.

The linesman for the match includes Scott Ledger and Simon Long while Chris Kavanagh was named the fourth official for the match.
