RB Leipzig Remain Adamant To Block Liverpool’s From Naby Keita

RB Leipzig star player Naby Keita has emerged as a target for Liverpool this summer and has been strongly linked with a move to the Anfield club.

Many Liverpool fans are already relishing the thoughts of having him play for them in next season’s busy campaign, and some are already projecting him to be the next Stephen Gerrard.

However, in a new development, RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff remained adamant that the player is not for sale.

The Anfield club are understood to be making ready a £70million bid for Keita as they look to break their transfer record once more.

The arrival of Mohamed Salah from AS Roma last month broke the record amount the reds had ever paid for a player. And once more, the Anfield club are ready to set a new high with the signing of Naby.

But, RB Leipzig boss Oliver insists the player is going nowhere.

When Sportbuzzer asked him if his club was ‘immune’ to bids, his simple response is: ‘Yes’, with an addition that the topic is a boring one.

Mintzlaff claimed that being Leipzig’s second Bundesliga season, the squad is still the youngest and also likely to be the most inexperienced.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly made Keita his No.1 priority this summer and wants the management to swiftly close the deal.
