Done Deal! Arsenal fee agreed plus personal terms agreed, target keen to leave – Report

Rumour continues to have it that the Gunners may well be close to a major signing this winter window with Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang very close to a transfer.

The two sides are thought to have agreed on a €60million fee, while the 28-year-old forward will earn close to €10m-yearly salary. That’s all as per African football expert Gary Al-Smith on the BBC Sports and NY Times publication amongst others, as viewed in his tweet, as his sources claim that a transfer to Arsenal could be close.

Also, he suggests that the former African footballer of the year is now ready to depart the German side this New year, while France international forward Olivier Giroud could be going to the opposite route which makes a lot of sense as the Arsenal striker go in search of regular first team football which will only get tougher at the Emirates Stadium when the African arrive.

This follows claims from Bild that the striker has been left out of Dortmund squad for their next league match with German side Hertha Berlin, which is a big indication that the Bundesliga side are getting set to bid him farewell.

Should the deal eventually go through, it will certainly delight the Arsenal fans.
