European Heavyweights Set To Sign Star Ahead Of Liverpool And Arsenal

Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann is ready to leave the Spanish capital to join Catalan giants Barcelona.

And according to new reports, the Madrid club are ready to sign Thomas Lemar as a replacement for Griezmann.

Diego Simeone has resigned to losing Antoine – who has been heavily linked with Manchester United, but Barcelona are now favourites to get his signature.

The player himself appears to be interested in moving to Camp Nou. Despite being a superb player, he isn’t winning trophies at Atletico Madrid, but a move to Barcelona will definitely add more to his profile.

And as the Madrid club are preparing to lose him, they have also reportedly made Thomas Lemar their top target to replace Griezmann.

Lemar has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Liverpool in recent times, but it appears he will be moving to the La Liga when he leaves Monaco.

The Frenchman was on the verge of completing his move to North London during the past summer transfer window to replace Alexis Sanchez – who was heavily linked with Manchester City last year.

This January, after Liverpool sold Phillipe Coutinho to Barcelona, the Frenchman is thought to be interested in moving to Anfield to replace the Brazilian superstar.

We look forward to what decision Lemar would eventually make.
