Arsene Wenger Personally Launches €25m For Chelsea Reject

Arsenal have launched a €25 million offer for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, according to reports.

The 29-year-old has emerged as a shock target for the Gunners this summer with reports that Arsene Wenger wants to bring in the Colombian to the Emirates.

Reports in RCN Radio claim that Arsene Wenger personally spearheaded the transfer bid for Cuadrado with reports that he has ordered the club to sign player this summer.

It is understood that Juventus and Chelsea have entered talks over the potential of a transfer move, even though Cuadrado recently came out to declare he is happy at the Italian giants.

Reports in Italy claim that Juve are open to the idea of cashing in on the right winger but will hold out for a €30 million asking price.

Juventus who recently signed the Colombian just for £17 million from Chelsea in May, have received interest from several clubs in Europe with the likes of Paris Saint Germain and AC Milan also ready to beat Arsenal to the player’s signature.

Arsenal are keen to bring in quality additions to their squad this summer, targeting the likes of Leicester City winger, Riyad Mahrez and AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar been listed as their priority targets this transfer window.
