Arsenal Transfer Roundup: £56m Bid Officially Confirmed

According to latest reports, Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has revealed that English Premier League giant Arsenal FC have submitted a £56m offer for their star striker Andrea Belotti.

Unfortunately, the sporting director also carefully added that Arsenal’s offer for the talented striker had been rejected. It was made known that the Serie A club are not yet interested in selling their prized-asset quality striker anytime soon.

“We received and refused a €65m (£56m) offer from Arsenal for Andrea Belotti, but it does not reflect the value of the player. Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, and then we’ll see what happens.” Gianluca Petrachi told Sky in Italy.

Andrea Belotti has been in top form as he keeps displaying superb performances. This season so far, he has scored 17 times in 21 games for both his club and his country.

It is now obvious that Arsenal need a stunning striker that will find the back of the net occasionally, if they desire maintaining the pressure on Premier League rivals like Chelsea and Liverpool. So, Wenger’s move for Belotti is not a much of a surprise.

Right now, 23-year-old Belotti is agreed to be one of the hottest prospects in Serie A. So, his Club’s decision to hold on to him at this stage of the season is quite understandable.
