Arsenal to announce Brazilain as first signing

North London outfit Arsenal are reported to be getting set for their first summer announcement with claims that the deal for Brazilian international Gabriel Martinelli is almost confirmed.

Gabriel Martinelli has been on the radar of the Arsenal team for a long time and it was suggested that terms have already been agreed upon by the player while talks between both clubs are ongoing.

It is claimed that Man United had the opportunity to secure the Brazilian starlet two years ago but they had turned down the opportunity to do so when he had a trial at the Old Trafford in July 2017.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to pay about £6 million for the Ituano striker, who celebrates his 18th birthday today.

It is suggested that he could find his way unto the first team just like Mateo Guendouzi did when he first joined Arsenal last summer window.

Gabriel Martinelli is a young talent who has shown big prospect to lead in coming years and that has already been observed by the Gunners boss Unai Emery who is the one keen on the player.

However, Arsenal have got need of more additions in this summer window if they must challenge for titles next season as there are lots of strengthening needed in the squad.
