According to IBTimes UK, Arsenal have told Unsettled striker Lucas Perez that he will be free to leave the club this summer if an offer worth €15m (£13.4m, $17.6m) arrives.
Perez, 28, only joined Arsenal during the last summer transfer window after an impressive 2015-2016 season in La Liga, netting 17 goals and assisting a further 10 at Deportivo La Coruna.
Everton also tried to sign him then, but the Gunners won the race after agreeing to pay his €21m release clause. However, the striker is likely to leave Emirate Stadium after being given little opportunity to prove himself during his first campaign in the English Premier League.
The Spaniard netted seven goals in 22 matches but fell out of favour with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger during the final third of the season, failing to secure a single minute of playing time from March till date.
The striker was left out of Arsenal’s pre-season training tour to Australia and China and suffered the humiliation of finding out his number nine shirt had been given out to new signing from Lyon Alexandre Lacazette after reading about it on the internet.
Last week IBTimes UK claimed La Liga side Deportivo had launched a bid worth around €10m to tempt Perez back to Spain ahead of the coming season.
