Arsenal receive positive message from target’s camp

It has been learned, according to reports that there has been a break in the negotiation between Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma and young player Nicolo Zaniolo over a contract extension.

This, therefore, means that he might not remain at the club longer than this season amidst interests from a number of top clubs including the North London outfit Arsenal.

The 19-year-old is no doubt, one of the hottest prospects in Europe since he joined the Serie A side from Inter Milan, as part of the deal that took Raija Nainggolan to San Siro.

As a way of ensuring he remains at the club, talks started over a new deal but there are suggestions that it has stales and being affected by the exit of AS Roma former sporting director Monchi who is currently with the Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla as there are reported confusion at the club over a new role.

This is, therefore, a perfect situation for the Gunners, having learned of the situation to move in for the promising midfielder in the coming summer transfer window.

The North Lindon outfit are currently in search of a midfielder who will step into the shoes of departing Wales international Aaron Ramsey ahead of the coming season as there is no doubt that manager Unai Emery will be in the market.

Aaron Ramsey has refused to agree on a new deal with the Gunners. He has therefore been announced to have agreed on a four-year deal with Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
