How Aubameyang’s bid for golden boot can help Arsenal’s season
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is believed to be in the contest from the Premier League golden boot this season as he is second with 17 goals. This has been suggested to help the Gunners team in their bid to secure qualification to the Champions League next season.
Man City striker Sergio Aguero is currently sitting at the top with 19 goals while the Gabon international is the same level as Tottenham star Harry Kane.
There is no doubt that the Gunners man have got his eyes on winning the award which is expected to spur him to score more goals and that means a step forward for the North London outfit as it would help them with more wins.
Pundits have therefore made it clear that they expect a higher motivation for the former Borussia Dortmund star than other players because of his personal ambition, but that will not go without him helping the club with more goals.
However, Arsenal are currently sitting fifth in the Premier League table and they expect a win against Newcastle to be able to take back the fourth position.
The North London outfit have got Man United and Chelsea to battle for the top four spot.
