Arsenal ready to give Barcelona their wish

Arsenal are reportedly ready to give Barcelona their wish by allowing Laurent Koscielny join the Spanish giants in the January window.

The Spanish giants are reportedly seeking for the player who is currently on the sideline because of their not-too-many options at the back.

Reports according to Team Talk says the North London side are ready to do business so as to cash in on the player especially now that they have got enough options with new signing, Sokratis Papastathopolus, Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi all doing a good job in the absence of the French defender.

Koscielny became Arsenal’s captain after the retirement of German international Per Mertesacker and immediately proved to be the best defender in the club but that cannot be said of him at the moment because of his injury.

However, Arsenal be will be glad to have the player go for a reasonable fee following reports that there might not be funds available for business in the winter transfer window.

The North London side have been able to pull good results without the Frenchman having gone 12 games unbeaten after their two first defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.

Arsenal now have the hope of a Champions League football for next season as they sit fourth in the Premier League table.
