Arsenal now have an option for Petr Cech

It is no longer news that North London outfit Arsenal are in the summer transfer market to secure the signature of a replacement for legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Petr Cech already announced his decision to leave the Emirates Stadium and football in general which makes a replacement for him necessary and urgent as they will be left with Bernd Leno as the only forceful goalkeeper.

Newcastle stopper Martin Dubravka has therefore been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium as manager Unai Emery is being convinced to move in for the star player.

Newcastle are hoping to land the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp if the Bin Zayed Group completes their takeover.

Should Newcastle succeed in their capture of the PSG man, there will be room for the Arsenal target to leave the club as he will no longer have a place in the team.

However, the departing Arsenal goalkeeper is reported to be heading to his former team Chelsea to pick up a role as a sporting director but other reports claim that he would be taking over as the goalkeeper trainer of the Academy team.

The Gunners team will have to make good use of the summer window to get it right.
