Arsenal in shock move for South American no.7

Arsenal are reported to be in shock move for French Ligue 1 Paris Saint Germain star Angel Di Maria in a bid to have him join the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

Angel Di Maria is believed to be unsettled at the French side and will not mind any move away with the interest from the North London side.

More so, the Argentina international is believed to have had a good relationship with manager Unai Emery when they both worked together in France and he could be interested in a reunion.

However, the Gunners might be discouraged with the £200,000 asking price for the star player as he will not be willing to take anything less.

Angel Di Maria has had a spell in the English League when he played at Manchester United which makes him familiar with the terrain.

Meanwhile, the Unai Emery side have shown enough ambition in their bid to qualify for the Champions League next season as well as winning a title this season by having a 21 games unbeaten run.

Unai Emery only joined Arsenal in the last summer from French side PSG and has since settled to make a big impact on the team.
